Using Data Column Symbols

A Data Column symbol is replaced at merge time with data values from the master database. No modifications are made to the data values.

The column names and semantics in the Master Database are unique to your organization. If you are unfamiliar with the columns in the Master Database, ask your Account Team for a description of your profile. Alternatively, if you have exported your data file, you can examine it to see a list of the columns. See Viewing Data and Sample Files.
