Export Tab

When you have specified the target audience(s) for a mailing, you use the Export Tab to create the data file (also referred to as the "export file") that Campaign Builder uses to insert values, such as an e-mail recipient's first name, in each e-mail. Initially, the Export Tab looks like the image below. Click Export Data File to begin the export.

The amount of time it takes for Campaign Builder to create the export file depends on the size of the audience list. When the export is finished, the Export Tab looks like this:
