Installing VerticaThis section describes how to:

cluster using install_vertica, a powerful shell script provided by Verticathat configures a cluster of hosts that can be used to create a database. The script does a number of checks to catch common Linux misconfigurations. It checks the connectivity and bandwidth characteristics of the communication links among the cluster machines and verifies other pre-requisites.You must be logged in as root to use install_vertica and you must run install_vertica for all installations, including upgrades and single-node installations.
After You InstallThis section describes how to install your license key. The other procedures do not apply to all applications of Vertica and are optional.

Technical Support.
